• Preside in all meetings of the GA, the Board and the ExeCom;
• Sign in all papers, documents and contracts that are related to the general interests and concerns of the Network as approved by the Board;
• Present the Network in all meetings and linkages with other people, groups or institutions as mandated by the BOT;
• Call for a special meeting of the BOT and ExeCom when the need arises;
• And duly delegate her or his functions whenever necessary.
RACHEL S. AQUINO
VICE PRESIDENT FOR SPECIAL AFFAIRS
• Ensure the implementation of the project “Creating and Enhancing Spaces for Dialogue and Conflict Resolution Processes in the Three Regions in the Philippines”, a project being funded by Katholische Zentralstelle fur Entwicklungshilfe e.V. (KZE).
• Act as Executive Director and Project Coordinator of other MedNet projects unless the Board of Trustees opts to assign a different project coordinator;
• Participate with the Board of Directors in developing a vision and strategic plan to guide the organization;

SECRETARY
• Ensure the documentation of the proceedings and all decisions made by the Board during their regular and special meetings;
• Be responsible for the safe-keeping of all records, minutes and documents of the Network;
• Present to the Board and/or ExeCom certified minutes, resolutions and proceedings of its previous meetings; and,
• Facilitate the prompt submission of reports and other regulatory requirements to the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and other pertinent government institutions.

TREASURER
• Shall be responsible for the finances and other assets of the Network and ensure the safe-keeping of funds in a bank chosen by the Board;
• Advise the Board and the GA regarding the financial status of the Network (assets, liabilities, cash flow etc.) by furnishing the same with the annual financial report;
• Perform all other related task assigned to her or him by the President, BOT or ExeCom.

• Report to the Board the operations of the Network in her or his respective island region;
• Monitor inter-sectoral disputes (i.e. government and PO, NGO and PO and others) in their respective island region and assess the kind of assistance which the association can provide in the facilitation of dispute analysis and management or resolution;

• Form committees to process membership applications in their respective islands.

• Support the Executive Director in identifying the learning needs of MedNet members and in designing appropriate knowledge management tools to cull and disseminate lessons learned within and outside the organization;
• Disseminate lessons learned and other positive experiences drawn from M&E data to project beneficiaries and other stakeholders through appropriate knowledge products such as the bi-annual magazine, website and end of project publication;
• Design appropriate data collection tools to effectively monitor and evaluate the progress and learning needs of community-based mediators;

KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT cum COMMUNICATION SPECIALIST
• Organize MedNet information and categorize for training, conflict management, research and publication in a database to systematically link up data users with data producers;
• Collaborate with M&E/Training Specialist in designing data collection tools to effectively address the learning needs of community-based mediators, members, staff, and partners;
• Disseminate lessons learned and other positive experiences drawn from M&E data to project beneficiaries and other stakeholders through appropriate knowledge products such as the bi-annual magazine, website and end of project publication;

INFORMATION and COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST
• Conduct preliminary assessment to determine MedNet’s organizational capability to implement an E-learning Programme and determine its technical requirements, including the capacity of the Trainers’ and Trainees to participate in the E-learning Programme;
• Assist MedNet trainers (or Subject Matter Specialists) in delivering their training modules;
• Act as a main Instruction Designer of the program;
• Assist MedNet in choosing what will be most appropriate e-learning techniques and tools to be used to support MedNet’s e-learning goals;

PROGRAM ASSISTANT
Provides administrative and logistical support for all project and institutional activities of MedNet, under the supervision of the Executive Director/Managing Trustees;
Perform other tasks necessary to accomplish the above duties and functions, and as may be delegated by the Executive Director/Managing Trustee.
Assists the Program Team in:
targeting and screening of potential participants for the Basic EDRMP Training
monitoring training outputs relative to application of learnings
monitoring implementation of plans in establishing local EDRMP mechanisms
organizing the core of mediators per project area
NELIA A. FLORES
ADMIN and FINANCE OFFICER
• Oversees the procurement of goods and services, ensuring compliance with MedNet and donor rules and regulations;
• Assists the Executive Director in the preparation of funding proposals and other means of improving the financial position of the institution;
• Liaises with the auditor and provide support in the audit requirements;
• Prepares and submit financial and other reports or documents that maybe required by funding partners, government offices, the MedNet Board of Trustees and members, the Executive Director; MedNet technical staff, project or institutional partners, and such other persons or parties that have legitimate requirements for such documents;

BOOKKEEPER
• Ensures proper filing of vouchers and backup documents;
• Prepares computation of mandatory benefits
• Prepares staff payroll
• Prepares monthly bank reconciliation statements and reconcile account balances
• Prepares reports for mandatory benefits for submission to government agencies
• Assists in the logistical preparations of MedNet activities such as training, meetings, among others;
• Performs other tasks that maybe assigned by the Administrative and Finance Officer.

ADMIN ASSISTANT
• Provides administrative and logistical support for all project and institutional activities of MedNet, under the supervision of the Administrative and Finance Officer;
• Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; calling for repairs; maintaining equipment inventories; evaluating new equipment and techniques.
• Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies.
