“Publication of the Proceedings of the Conference on Community Mediation through the Newsmagazine ‘The Mediator"
The project was intended to disseminate the results of the 2nd national conference of mediators organized by MedNet. The conference, with the theme “Community-based Mediation: Filipino Communities as Peace Builders” drew in 66 participants from various sectors who shared best practices in mediation. Highlights of the conference proceedings were published in The Mediator. A total of 500 copies were printed.

“National Conference on Community Mediation”
The project, was intended to gather mediators from government and civil society in the country to (a) appreciate the different models and perspectives of community mediation, (b) identify common advocacy areas and (c) agree to develop a compendium of mediation cases for publication. The grant from PEF partly funded the costs of holding the conference.

“Facilitating the Establishment of Mechanisms of Consensus Building of the Dumagat IP in the Protection and Management of Ancestral Domain site and Old growth Forest”
The project, sought to map out issues and concerns of the Dumagats, indigenous peoples located in Montalban, Rizal related to their ancestral domain claim. It was also aimed to find avenues of participation for the Dumagats in the protection and management of the remaining forested areas in their ancestral domain.
