Experience on Mediation

Knowledge and skills in mediation gotten from the training been used in the agrarian reform programmes in Tripartite Partnership in Agrarian Reform and Rural Development (TRIPARRD) Programme in June 1994-December 1997.

Conducting Mediation Training for the Barangay Agrarian Reform Council and Organizations (BARC) covered by the Programme re: land disputes and issues

Applied in my programmes/projects being handled the skills learned in mediation and to family members and friends in facilitating communication between opposing parties in disputes (community and programme personnel’s/implementing partners); helping in resolving issues without resulting to legal matters (court/judge)

Mediated programme or workplace-originated disciplinary matters and claims of discrimination based upon race, gender, age, ethnicity, national origin (ACF/UNDP/ UNHCR : Beneficiaries/Refugees covered in the programme and host community from; 2008-2018)

Trained staffs on basic mediation & negotiation skills for personal & work related disputes, crisis management & personal intervention.

Mediated disputes as a neutral third-party working towards a result with both parties.

Practiced of neutrality in order to facilitate effective dialog write agreements and empower people to make better decisions.
