May 2012 – present & September 2005 – March 2006 – Mediators Network for Sustainable Peace (MedNet), Inc. | President and Executive Director | Tasked included managing the day-to-day operations of the organization, leading the implementation of organizational projects, activities and programs, preparation of funding proposals and project reports, conducting training of professional and community-based mediators, mediating disputes concerning natural resource use, and serving as the public face of the organization.

April 2006 – September 2010 – First Philippine Conservation, Inc. | Executive Director | Tasks included managing the day-to-day affairs of the office, overseeing the implementation of projects, preparing and marketing funding proposals, and representing the organization in networks and other external affairs. During my term, FPCI launched the Center of Center campaign that led to the first ever Malacañang-initiated National Biodiversity Conference in November 2006 where Executive Order No. 578 was signed by the President of the Philippines, and the formulation of the Conservation and Management Plan for Verde Island Passage, that body of water that straddles the provinces of Batangas, Mindoro Oriental, Mindoro Occidental, Romblon and Marinduque. FPCI was also a major player in the formulation of the National Plan of Action (NPOA) pursuant to the Regional Plan of Action (RPOA) of the Coral Triangle Initiative (CTI).
